ThinkNova is an all-ages photography studio based in Columbus, Ohio.
We photograph the families, milestones, and moments that general-market studios tend to treat as an afterthought or even a risk.
Queer families, chosen families, gender-expansive kids, neurodivergent and disabled clients: named directly, held at a celebratory register, never coded as "ALL welcome" and left at that. Real schedules. Real kids. Your people, at their best, still recognizably themselves.

Most studios ask families to perform a version of themselves that photographs easily. Quiet, cooperative, camera-ready on command.
We go the other direction. Before a shutter ever clicks, we say plainly who this space is for, so nobody spends the session wondering if they're the exception the studio is tolerating. We walk through what's coming next in language kids and first-timers can actually use, build in room for sensory needs, mobility, and meltdown windows as a baseline rather than a favor, and ask before we touch, pose, or redirect—every time, at every age.
The result isn't a polished stranger. It's your family, mid-real-life, looking like exactly who they are.

We build it into the room from the start: names and pronouns get used correctly, the first time, kids and first-timers get told what's happening before it happens, and nobody has to brace for the moment someone treats their family as unusual.
